하나님께 나의 필요, 원하는 것을 구했다 하면 기다려야 할 것은 눈에 보이는 그 무엇이 아닌 바로 하나님의 평강(Peace)이다. 구한 것이 그대로 되는 것만이 응답, 정답이 아니다.
기도의 결과는 응답은 평강이어야만 하고 그것만이 답이다. 바라는 것이 그대로 된다 한들, 마음에 평강이 없으면 무슨 소용이겠는가? 평강만이 예수 안에 있는 나의 마음과 생각을 지키시는 하나님의 능력이기 때문이다. 그러므로 바라는 것이 그대로 것만이 답이 아닌것이다. 평강이 답이다.
When I ask God for my needs and wants, what I have to wait for is not anything tangible, but the peace of God. Getting what you asked for is not the answer, the correct answer.
The result of prayer is that the answer must be peace, and that is the only answer. Even if you get what you want, what good is it if you don't have peace in your heart, because peace is the power of God to guard your heart and mind in Jesus. Therefore, wishing is not the answer. Peace is the answer.
